Zea has more than a decade of experience in chief executive and senior executive positions with the Queensland Government. This ranges from early childhood education and care to corporate strategy (HR, finance, infrastructure, shared services, governance and risk management), strategic policy and education futures, training and skills policy, strategic research, legislation services, and Indigenous education. Zea has extensive experience in rolling out significant national and state-wide reform, and leading complex multi-jurisdictional negotiations.
She joined Sagacity Consulting as a senior associate in 2011 and became managing director in 2016. Zea provides services across the government, commercial and not for profit sectors for industries ranging from child care to construction, housing to economic to development.
Zea adds value to an organisation through her ability to navigate complex issues from research to facilitation and negotiation through to policy development and implementation. She has a proven reputation for delivering exceptional quality advice and outcomes on time and on budget.
Zea holds a Master of Administration (HR major) from Griffith University with a research thesis on industry and empowerment, a Graduate Diploma of Teaching from Queensland University of Technology, a Bachelor of Arts (communication and media major) from Griffith University and is an Executive Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand School of Government.
